Neighborhood Meetings
Effective resident engagement within neighborhoods is crucial to pinpoint specific concerns, needs, and desired neighborhood growth and improvement over the next decade.
To facilitate this planning process, focused meetings will be conducted within the City’s 10 core neighborhoods to explore quality-of-life issues, housing, economic development, recreation, and other crucial items and to identify neighborhood Goals and their individual Visions.
This tailored approach will enable a more in-depth discussions and guarantee that the distinct needs and viewpoints of each neighborhood are acknowledged and integrated into the Comprehensive Plan.
At least one meeting will be held in each neighborhood during Phase 1 of Electric City Recharged. Subsequent meetings may be scheduled in select neighborhoods as needed to identify the neighborhood Goals and Visions.
